Installation
Sculk installs like any other plugin. The whole process is: drop the jar in, restart, confirm it loaded. Tuning comes later — the defaults are safe on a fresh install.
Requirements
- A Spigot, Paper, Purpur, or Folia server (see the supported version range on the home page)
- Java 17 or newer
- Console or file access to your server's
plugins/directory
Sculk needs no database, no companion mod, and no client-side install. Players don't download anything.
Install
- Download the Sculk jar for your tier from your account page (Premium/Network) or the pricing page (Free).
- Place
Sculk.jarin your server'splugins/directory. - Restart the server. A reload is not enough for first install — restart.
- Confirm the load in console:
[Sculk] Enabled Sculk AntiCheat vX.Y.Z
[Sculk] 26 checks registered · async workers started
- Premium and Network: enter your licence key once, from console or as an operator in-game:
/sculk license SCULK-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX
The key binds to this server. If you rebuild the machine, reset the binding from your account page.
Verify it's working
Join the server and run /sculk status. You should see the active check
count, the alert channel status, and current async worker load. To see
alerts, give yourself the sculk.alerts permission and turn on verbose mode:
/sculk verbose on
Verbose shows every flag, including ones far below punishment thresholds — useful for confirming detection is live, noisy if you leave it on. Turn it off before you walk away.
