Frequently asked questions
- What's the fastest way to get help?
- The Discord. Post your server platform and version, your Sculk version, and the output of /sculk status. Most setup questions are answered the same day.
- A legitimate player was flagged — what do I do?
- Run /sculk logs for that player and check which check fired and at what violation level. Low-VL flags are normal and never punish. If a check repeatedly flags legit play in a specific situation, raise its tolerance and report it so defaults can improve. The Troubleshooting doc walks through this step by step.
- Does Sculk work with my punishment plugin?
- Yes. Ban waves execute a command template you define, so LiteBans, AdvancedBan, vanilla /ban, or anything else that accepts a command works unchanged.
- Do players need to install anything?
- No. Sculk is entirely server-side. Players join normally with a vanilla client.
- How do licences work?
- Free needs no licence. Premium is one key per server, bound on first use and resettable from your account page. Network is one key covering unlimited backend servers behind one proxy.
- Can I move my licence to a new server?
- Yes — reset the binding from your account page and enter the key on the new machine.
